Xiaomi SU7 is equipped with a kinetic energy regenerative braking mechanism, so that the hydraulic braking system is less likely to be used, but it may also cause the problem of rusting. For this reason, Xiaomi SU7 provides both active and passive rust removal functions for the brake discs. Passive rust removal means that during the normal operation of kinetic energy regeneration, the system will anticipate the trend of rusting on the brake discs, and regularly and flexibly call on the hydraulic brake to participate in the breaking work. This would grind away the rust on the brake discs, and silently complete the rust removal work without the user's awareness.
