Citing sources, Bloomberg reported that CHINA VANKE (02202.HK) has prepared funds to repay RMB1.45 billion worth of notes due on 25 May. The note is trading at RMB97.6, indicating investors' confidence in the issuer's ability to repay its debt at maturity.

It is learnt that VANKE has another offshore bond maturing this year. The US$600 million-sized bond would mature on 7 June, and is now trading at USD96.9 cents.
