Hong Kong stocks opened lower in the morning session. The HSI opened 100 points or 0.4% lower at 23,791. The HSCEI opened 32 points or 0.4% lower at 8,622. The HSTECH opened 32 points or 0.6% lower at 5,207.

WUXI BIO (02269.HK) cascaded 3.6% to $27 as its major shareholder sold 82.94 million shares at a 5% discount, cashing in over $2.2 billion. WUXI APPTEC (02359.HK) and SINO BIOPHARM (01177.HK) shed 1.6% each.
