BIDU-SW (09888.HK) (BIDU.US) announced that Baidu AI Cloud Qianfan had rolled out and fully open-sourced a brand-new visual understanding model, Qianfan-VL. The Qianfan-VL series comes in three sizes, 3B, 8B, and 70B, designed for enterprise-level multimodal applications. With deep optimization for visual understanding, it features outstanding general-purpose capabilities and special enhancements for high-frequency industry needs such as OCR and education-related scenarios. The Qianfan-VL series was developed by the Baidu AI Cloud Qianfan model R&D team based on open-source models, with the entire computational process completed on Baidu's self-developed Kunlun P800 chip.
