Cathie Wood bought Alibaba Group Holding (BABA.US)'s shares for the first time in four years, denting BABA-W (09988.HK) by 0.6% to $158.5. Micron Technology (MU.US)'s 4FQ earnings surged over 2x, beating expectations. Chip stock SMIC (00981.HK) inched up 0.3%, while chip equipment stock ASMPT (00522.HK) shed 1.8%.
